What is Kinetic-Chain Training?
Kinetic Chain Training is our unique approach to whole-body wellness. Designed and led by a Certified Personal Trainer to meet you exactly where you are at in your health journey, the foundational principle of this approach is that the human body is made up of interdependent systems. Kinetic Chain Training works to refine the synergy between body parts as a system.
Your body doesn’t move in isolated parts, so we don’t train that way! By connecting strength, stability, and mobility in a way that supports your everyday movement, you are working to reaching your activity goals and achieve long-term functionality. Using guided imagery, our trainer helps individuals gain awareness of their movement patterns, cultivating a strong mind-body connection through one-on-one coaching. Functional patterns, lifestyle habits, mobilization, breath work and compensatory patterns are all addressed in some fashion in the training offered at IP.
