Physical therapy is ultimately meant to help relieve discomfort, but it is important to remember most recoveries are not pain-free. Pain is an important brain processing signal, and while we do all that we can to monitor the discomfort that you may experience, it is typically part of the rehabilitation process. We believe ‘no pain, no gain’, but there has to be a method to the madness.
Plan of care frequency and duration is dependent on your diagnosis/diagnoses. If you are post-surgery, it could be up to three times a week. Most patients will be 1-2x a week for 6-12 weeks.
Appointments are scheduled for 40 minutes. This appointment will include a brief check-in, as well as treatment that the therapist deems appropriate for your plan of care. This could be therapeutic exercise in the gym, manual therapy in a treatment room or a combination of both.
Your first appointment will consist of a 40-minute evaluation with one of our licensed physical therapists. During this visit, your therapist will take a detailed health history, perform a differential diagnosis, and begin developing a personalized treatment plan. To make the most of your time, we ask that all patients arrive wearing work-out attire appropriate for bending, reaching, and squatting. Please make sure your clothing allows for full access to the area being treated.
Please plan to arrive 10–15 minutes early to fill out New Patient Paperwork. This helps ensure the full appointment time is dedicated to your care. Bring any relevant medical documentation, such as MRI or X-ray results, physician referrals, or surgical reports, if applicable.

Colorado is a Direct Access State meaning you do not need a doctor’s referral to receive PT. However, there are several insurances who do require a referral to have your claims processed. Those are: Medicare, Medicaid, and many Tricare plans.

We have a self-pay rate available for patients who don’t have insurance or for those whose benefits won’t cover their treatment.
We accept checks, cash, HSA, Debit or Credit cards. Please be advised there is a 2% surcharge for credit cards.
