This classical form of yoga combines power and flexibility with movement, bandhas and breath to produce an energetic and detoxifying practice.
Silent, self-inspired practice where the instructor assists students as they move through the ashtanga series at their own pace, breath by breath. Previous experience with Ashtanga is useful so speak to instructor of you have questions.
Private Sessions can be beneficial for students with injuries to learn how to modify poses for individual needs. Private classes are also helpful to encourage individual progress for students with challenges in specific poses due to lack of flexibility or strength. Yin yoga is a restorative and slow-paced practice that accesses deeper levels of fascia and connective tissue. Poses are held for longer periods of time in a comfortable room utilizing props to make any pose accessible. Meditation and breathwork are frequently used in yin classes, to facilitate a mind body connection.
